Setting up an event
An Event brief becomes a partner-led event with its own hosted landing page and on-site check-in. Your events are listed on the Events page ("Host partner events") under Open for registration, Past · what they produced and, when relevant, Preparing to open.
Step 1: the essentials
Starting setup opens the Essentials section, titled "Grounded Event facts". These are the facts the agent writes from, so make them accurate:
- Starts, Ends and Timezone
- City, Venue and Venue address
- Format and Capacity
- Speakers: name, role, organisation and, optionally, approved bio facts
- Genuine quote (optional) and its Quote attribution
Step 2: generate the draft
Select Generate Event draft. Generation creates a draft only. Nothing goes live until you approve it.
Step 3: review and improve each section
The draft is laid out in the same order as the landing page:
- Landing page opener
- Why attend
- On the night (the agenda)
- Speaker introductions
- Registration and check-in
- The venue story
- Audience and questions
- Closing reserve and footer
Edit any section directly, or use its Improve button to regenerate just that part. The registration section has two: Improve registration and Improve check-in.
Step 4: save or open registration
- Save draft keeps your work without publishing.
- Approve & open registration approves the event and publishes its registration and check-in pages.
- Once open, Close registration stops new sign-ups.
Branding
Event landing pages are client-led and co-branded. Your identity and colour lead, and the partner is shown as co-host.
