Activate: running your programme
Monthly reviews and recommendations
What the monthly review contains, when it appears, and how to track its recommendations.
Monthly reviews and recommendations
Each month, Activate looks back at the month just closed and writes a review: how the programme is doing, which partners to back or rethink, and what to do next. Open it from Reviews in the Activate navigation.
When a review appears
The first review appears once all four revenue channels have been saved for a completed month. Until then the page shows "No reviews yet". Logging your revenue on time is what keeps reviews coming. See Logging your monthly revenue.
What is in a review
- The banner: the review number, the gap closed and how many recommendations have been actioned so far.
- Programme health: Gap closed to date, Projected close · run rate, Partner-sourced revenue and Active partners.
- Partner verdicts: a verdict for each partner, from boost, hold, fix, pause or drop, each with the reasoning behind it.
- Recommendations: a short list of suggested moves.
- Variance narrative: a written explanation of what changed and why.
Tracking recommendations
On the current review, mark each recommendation as you act on it with Mark actioned. Change your mind with Mark unactioned. The count of actioned recommendations shows in the banner and on the Recommend step of Momentum. Earlier reviews are kept as a record and cannot be changed.
