Setting up a partner story
From interview guide to transcript upload, speakers, data points and pull quote, then generating the story.
Setting up a partner story
A Partner Story brief turns a real interview into a finished story with your partner. Start setup from the brief to open Story setup. Your stories are listed on the Stories page ("Publish partner stories").
Before you start
- Partner branding: a story needs the partner's branding before it can be generated. If you see "Needs partner branding", add their logo and colour on the partner's detail page first.
- Strategy check: the brief needs its strategy check before Story setup opens.
1. Interview guide
Select Generate guide to get a tailored interview guide in eight sections. Generate it before the interview and use it to run the conversation. You can Regenerate guide at any time.
2. Upload the completed interview
This is what the agent drafts from.
- Transcript: upload a DOCX, PDF or TXT file, or paste the transcript or interview notes.
- Partner video: optional, 30 to 45 seconds, as an MP4 file.
3. Check the details
Once generated, these sections fill in and stay editable:
- Who spoke: each interviewee's name, role and organisation.
- Key data points: each number and what it proves.
- The pull quote: the quote and its Attribution.
- Story draft: the full AI-generated story, editable section by section.
Generating
Select Save interview to save without generating, or Generate story to save and generate. Generation and quality checks usually take two to four minutes, and the page shows progress as it goes. If generation does not finish, your saved setup is unchanged and you can try again.
What a story produces
Each story produces an asset set in a proven format:
- Website case study (the primary asset)
- Newsletter snippet
- LinkedIn post
