Partner reconciliation
How to resolve PartnerStack records that could not be matched to a partner automatically.
Partner reconciliation
When PartnerStack sends a partner record that Activate cannot match safely to a partner in your registry, it does not guess. It raises a reconciliation issue for a person to decide. Open it from the Partner reconciliation button on the Partners page.
Why it matters
Unmatched records are left out of partner results until they are sorted. Clearing them keeps your Momentum and partner numbers complete.
Reading an issue
Each issue card shows:
- A title describing the problem, and a status pill.
- The partner name and a short reference from PartnerStack.
- What happened: a plain explanation.
- Recommended resolution: what to do about it.
- The matched partner (if any), the PartnerStack status, the region, and when the record was first and last seen.
Use Issue status to switch between Open, Resolved, Ignored and All.
Common issues
| Issue | Usual fix |
|---|---|
| Provider name is missing | Correct the name in PartnerStack and retry, or link it to an existing partner. |
| Category is outside the captured Strategy baseline | Create the partner without that category, link it to an existing partner, or fix the category in PartnerStack. |
| Partner name could not be matched safely | Choose the existing partner this record belongs to. |
| Partner name and provider identity disagree | Confirm the right partner and link it. |
| Provider identity belongs to another engagement | Check your PartnerStack account and keys, then retry. |
Your options
- Link partner: choose the existing partner this record belongs to, then select Link partner.
- Create partner: add it as a new partner (offered for category issues).
- Retry sync: ask for a fresh check after you have fixed something in PartnerStack.
- Ignore issue: only when the record is deliberately out of scope.
When there is nothing to resolve you will see "No open issues". That means PartnerStack and your partner registry agree.
