Partner statuses and links
What each partner status means, and the difference between default and campaign links.
Partner statuses and links
Every partner carries a status pill that reflects their state in PartnerStack, and a set of links that let their promotion be tracked back to them.
Partner statuses
| Status | What it means |
|---|---|
| Active | A current partnership. Their activity counts in your results. |
| Paused | The partnership is on hold in PartnerStack. |
| Invited | The partner has been invited but has not accepted yet. Numbers appear after they accept and the first sync completes. |
| Archived, Deleted, Superseded | No longer a current partnership. The record is kept so past results still add up. |
| Unknown | Activate could not tell the current state from PartnerStack. The partner stays visible rather than being hidden. |
Archived, deleted and superseded partners are hidden from the list unless you tick Show archived identities. Only active partners can be chosen on a new brief.
Categories
Each partner can sit in one of the partner categories from your captured strategy. A partner with no category shows Uncategorised. You can set the category on the partner's detail page. Category chips on the Partners page let you filter by them.
Default links and campaign links
A partner has two kinds of tracked link, and they do different jobs.
- Default link: the partner's own reusable PartnerStack link. It is shown on the partner card and the detail page.
- Campaign links: links created for a specific brief, one for each promoting partner. They tie a click to both the partner and the campaign.
When you share a webinar or event, use the Partner promo links shown on that webinar or event. They keep the partner and campaign attribution intact. The bare PartnerStack link and the Zoom link do not.
