Activate: running your programme
Strategy and setup settings
Your captured partnership strategy, programme settings and finance settings explained.
Strategy and setup settings
Strategy & setup is the gear item at the end of the Activate navigation. A menu on the left holds five sections: Partnership strategy, Programme settings, Finance settings, Integrations and Slack & agent access.
Partnership strategy
This is your captured Strategy baseline, the plan Activate drafts and reports against. As the page says, it guides your teams and never blocks them. It is captured during Activate onboarding and shown here read-only, with the date it was captured.
- At a glance: your Partner revenue target (a share and an amount), the Gap remaining, and how partner-sourced your revenue was when the baseline was captured. If no target was set, an Industry default badge shows that a HockeyStick benchmark is standing in. It is a benchmark, not your target.
- What the teams use: your Where to play · segments (priority segments are marked) and your Roadmap workstreams. When you raise a brief, you choose which workstream it advances.
- The finance model: open it to see the targets and assumptions behind the numbers, including your Year 1 target period, channel mix, partner type mix, partner pool, conversion assumptions and revenue per activation.
If the finance model is missing conversion assumptions, it notes that projected pipeline is paused, and Momentum's pipeline tile stays empty.
Programme settings
- Partnership lead: the person leading your programme.
- Monthly review: the day each month your revenue figures are due and your review is prepared. In shorter months it falls on the final day.
These are agreed with your HockeyStick team during onboarding. Ask your consultant if either needs to change.
Finance settings
- Company currency and PartnerStack reporting currency: choose from AUD, NZD, GBP, USD and EUR. PartnerStack revenue is converted to your company currency as it arrives, using live XE rates. Values already recorded keep their original currency and rate.
- Average partner-sourced deal value: used to estimate a webinar's value from its number of registrants. It may be filled in from your intake. You can change it here without changing your original intake.
Select Save finance settings. A Currency conversion · XE card lets you check a quick conversion.
Integrations and Slack
See Integrations for PartnerStack and Zoom. Slack & agent access is where people get set up to use HockeyStick's agent from Slack; see HockeyStick in Slack.
