Connect Claude (claude.ai and Desktop)

The quickest way is the HockeyStick plugin. It adds the connector plus a short skill that teaches Claude how to use HockeyStick well. You can also add the connector by hand.

Option 1: the HockeyStick plugin

1. Open Customize, then Plugins, then Add, then Add marketplace.
2. Enter CrewAmp/hockeystick-plugins and add the hockeystick plugin.
3. Turn on Sync automatically for the marketplace, so updates arrive by themselves.
4. Open the plugin's Connectors tab and click Connect on HockeyStick.
5. Enter your HockeyStick email address, then the code that arrives by email. Accept the permission request.

If you cannot reach GitHub, your consultant can send you the plugin as a zip. Upload it with Add > Upload plugin. A zip does not update itself, so upload the new one whenever you receive it.

Option 2: add the connector by hand

1. Open Customize, then Connectors, then Add custom connector.
2. Name it HockeyStick Test and enter the URL https://platform-test.hockeystickai.com/mcp. Click Continue when it says "Server found".
3. Leave the OAuth client ID and secret empty. Claude identifies itself automatically.
4. Sign in with your email and the email code, then turn the connector on in your conversation.

If you already have a HockeyStick connector that was set up with a client ID, it keeps working. You do not need to change it.

Try it

Start a new chat and ask:

• "Which HockeyStick clients can my account access?"
• "What can HockeyStick do?"

Claude reads the current list of HockeyStick tools each time a conversation starts, so new features appear without a plugin update.
