Connecting an AI app to HockeyStick

You can connect an AI app such as Claude to your HockeyStick account and simply ask it about your partner programme. It reads your real HockeyStick data and, with your say-so, it can make changes for you.

What it gives you

Once connected, your AI app can:

  • Tell you which clients your account can see.
  • List your partners with their monthly revenue, leads, trials and activations from PartnerStack, rank them, and spot the dormant ones.
  • Show one partner's performance for a month.
  • Find your Story, Social, Webinar and Event briefs, tell you where each one is up to, and share its finished assets.
  • Start a new brief from one sentence, ask you the questions it needs, and generate it when you say so.
  • Approve a finished brief, or ask for a regeneration with a note.
  • Read and log your company's monthly revenue by channel.

How it works, in plain terms

HockeyStick runs an MCP server. MCP (Model Context Protocol) is a standard way for AI apps to use outside tools. Your AI app talks to HockeyStick through it, and every request runs as you. The app can only see and do what your own HockeyStick login can, and every call is recorded against your account.

The app starts by checking who you are and which clients you can access. Before it changes anything, it shows you the exact values and waits for you to confirm.

Which apps are supported

  • Claude on claude.ai and Claude Desktop.
  • Claude Code.
  • Codex, on the command line and in the desktop app.

Other AI apps are not set up to connect today.
