This is the opening page of your Opportunity Map. It sets out the vision and strategic intent for your partner ecosystem: where partnerships fit into your wider goals, and what you are ultimately trying to build. Think of it as the statement everything else in the pack points back to.

Why it matters

It is easy to chase individual partners without a clear reason. A stated vision keeps the whole programme honest. Every category you prioritise, every partner you shortlist, and every choice further along in this pack should serve this intent. When you and your team disagree about a partner, this is the page you return to.

How to use it

Read it first, before the more detailed pages. Share it with anyone who needs to understand the "why" behind your partner strategy, including leadership and colleagues who were not in the workshop. If the vision no longer feels right as your business changes, raise it with your consultant. It is meant to be a living reference, not a plaque on the wall.
