Creating briefs
Start a Story, Social, Webinar or Event brief, answer its questions, generate it, then approve or regenerate.
Creating briefs
You can create a brief in Slack and take it all the way to approval. Every save and every generation shows you a summary first, and nothing happens until you press Confirm.
Start a brief
Name the type, the partner and what it is about. For example:
- "Create a story brief for Acme about faster onboarding"
- "Create a webinar brief for Acme about onboarding automation"
- "Webinar hosted by Acme with Globex and Initech promoting, about onboarding automation"
Story and Social briefs name one partner. Webinar and Event briefs name a host partner and can add promoting partners.
If you leave something out, the agent asks, for example "Which brief type: Story, Social, Webinar or Event?" or "What source text should the brief use?"
The agent then proposes saving a draft for that partner. Press Confirm to save it. Saving a draft does not generate anything yet.
Answer the brief's questions
After saving, the agent shows the draft, what is already filled in, and the next question. Use the buttons:
- Answer question opens a short form called Brief setup. Fill it in and select Review changes.
- Change lets you pick a field to change.
- Refresh review shows the latest saved draft.
Each type asks for what it needs. For example, a Webinar asks for speakers (one per line: Name | Role | Organisation) and an agenda, and a Social brief asks for its source and platforms. Supply only facts you know. Values the agent proposes stay proposals until you accept them.
Each set of answers is saved only after you press Confirm.
Generate it
When every question is answered, select Review generation. The agent shows the reviewed setup and asks you to confirm. Generation then runs, and the agent says it was accepted.
When generation finishes, the agent posts the results in the same private thread: short text in the message, longer text as a preview with a link, and files such as graphics as private links and uploads. Links are private and last seven days.
Approve or regenerate
When a brief is ready, the agent tells you the next step, for example: reply "approve brief" followed by its ID.
- Approve: "approve brief" and the brief's ID or exact title. Approving an Event also opens its public registration page, and the agent warns you first.
- Regenerate: ask to regenerate the brief and say which Story, Social or Webinar asset to redo.
Both show a confirmation. Nothing changes until you press Confirm.
